DP
-1200 Depaneling Routing System
Feedback

 |
 |
 |
| The
industry's most unique, efficient and cost effective depaneling
router available on the market today is AIC Technologies'
DP-1200 depaneling system. Incorporating two independent
worktables, the DP-1200 increases production efficiency
and throughput, by allowing for the loading and unloading
of PCB panels from one worktable, while the PCB panel
on the other worktable is being depaneled by the routing
head. The DP-1200's most unique feature is the ability
of the router to run two different routing programs simultaneously
by assigning a different program to each individual worktable,
providing the flexibility needed to compete in today's
highly competitive manufacturing market and allowing for
a variety of production. |

 |
The DP-1200 routing head incorporates a high speed spindle
(5,000 - 50,000 rpm) with a quick release collar for quick
routing bit change over. Bit to PCB alignment is done
through the teaching camera mounted to the router head.
The programming software is built on a Windows NT platform
with a user friendly interface that gives the user the
freedom needed to control the routing functions for optimum
performance. Programming can be done both on and off line
through the processing software, using the teaching mode
to manually position the routing pattern or by using location
points to create the routing pattern.

die
shuttle and is automatically transferred into the press,
where the upper die is locked onto the upper platen and
the lower die section is locked onto the die shuttle.
The PCB is loaded onto the lower die section and shuttled
into the press where it is singulated and returned to
the operator. This method for loading the singulation
die sets provides for fast and accurate change over which
eliminates setup time created by manually installing die
sets, fixtures and stand offs. Machine operation and alignment
is automatic. Starting operation is done through double
palm buttons and a sensor curtain is used to ensure operator
safety.
